It was a severe day for the Czech rider from HTC-Highroad team in the 14th stage of the Giro d´Italia. František Raboň eventually finished the stage atop Monte Zoncolan and he is going to continue in the race.

The Spanish rider Alberto Contador (Saxo Bank SunGard) extended his lead after the 13th stage of the Giro d´Italia. None of his biggest rivals was able to respond to his attack that he launched together with Rujano on Grossglockner. They arrived at the finish one and a half minutes ahead of the chasing group and in the end, it was Rujano who took the stage win.

Once again, the HTC-Highroad riders delivered an excellent lead-out for Mark Cavendish in the 12th stage of the Giro d´Italia. František Raboň greatly contributed to Briton´s success.
