Raboň pulled out of Giro

Raboň was already having troubles during the Saturday´s stage but in the end, he got back into the rhythm and was hoping he would survive today´s stage. After a series of tough stages where Franky did a huge amount of work for his team sprinters Cavendish and Renshaw, it was beyond his strength to finish the queen stage of this year´s Giro d´ Italia, which was 229km long and the riders faced up to 6000m of climbing

Overall Standings: 1st Contador 62:14:42, 2nd Scarponi +4:20, 3rd Nibali +5:11, 4th Gadret +6:08, 5th Nieve +7:03, 6th Rujano +8:39.
