František Raboň has spent almost a month off his bike since the World Championship but as of next Thursday, he will begin his preparations for next season that will be relatively different for him. Most importantly, the Czech rider will wear the Omega Pharma – Quick-Step colors next year. Since the HTC-Highroad disband, the time trial specialist František Raboň hasn’t put in many race kilometers. “The team wanted me to fly to Canada but I didn’t go as I would have ridden only two races and I wouldn’t have had enough time to get acclimatized,” Raboň said. František Raboň is going to change his team after six years under one team with several different names. Following the HTC-Highroad disband, the Czech rider has decided to sign a two-year contract with the Omega Pharma Quick Step. František Raboň knows which team he will be riding for next year. Following the disband of the HTC-Highroad his future was quite uncertain. But now he is relaxed since he clinched a new deal with a ProTour team. František Raboň was content with his return to racing at the Eneco Tour. Above all, he was pleased with his performance in the time trial before the World Championships. |
